Acceptable Use Policy
This policy keeps Covey useful and trustworthy for everyone. It applies to all users — parents and providers.
Who this applies to
Everyone who uses Covey, whether you're a parent finding activities or a provider listing one.
What you must not do
- Post false, misleading, or impersonating listings, reviews or information.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or infringes anyone else's rights.
- Misuse the enquiry or messaging features — for example spam, harassment, or unsolicited marketing to parents.
- Submit fake, altered, or fraudulent DBS certificates or accreditation documents.
- Scrape, copy, or bulk-extract listings or data from Covey.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorised access to Covey or its systems.
Reviews
Reviews must be genuine and first-hand — based on your own real experience of the activity. Don't post fake reviews, incentivised reviews, or reviews of your own club. We may remove reviews that break these rules or our moderation guidelines.
Moderation and consequences
Submissions to Covey are moderated using a mix of automated checks and human review. If you breach this policy we may remove content, hide or suppress a listing, restrict features, or suspend or close an account — depending on the seriousness. Repeated or serious abuse may be flagged and blocked. Your account is also subject to our Terms of Service.
