Cookie Policy
[LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED] — Scaffold for a lawyer to confirm (Brief 31 Phase B). Not legal advice. The technical facts below are accurate as of this version; the lawyer should confirm the ePrivacy/PECR characterisation.
The short version
Stub: Covey doesn't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there's no cookie consent banner. Everything below is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for, or is cookieless. This page exists for transparency.
What we use
- Authentication session cookie — set by our auth provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in. Strictly necessary (security/functional) — exempt from consent.
- `ce_claim_src` — a short-lived (1 hour), single-purpose cookie that preserves which campaign a listing-claim came from through the sign-in round-trip. Strictly necessary for the claim flow you initiated — exempt from consent.
- Plausible analytics — privacy-first and cookieless by design; no personal data, no cross-site tracking, no consent needed.
- localStorage — used only for UI state (e.g. recent searches) on your own device; not shared.
If this changes
Stub: if Covey ever adds non-essential cookies (e.g. a different analytics or marketing tool), a consent mechanism will be added and this page updated. Lawyer to confirm the trigger threshold.
