Cookie Policy

The short version

Covey doesn't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there's no cookie consent banner. Everything we use is either strictly necessary for a feature you asked for, or is cookieless. This page is here for transparency.

What we use

• Authentication session cookie — set by our sign-in provider (Supabase) to keep you logged in. Strictly necessary (security / functionality) — exempt from consent requirements.
• `ce_claim_src` — a short-lived (about one hour), single-purpose cookie that remembers which link a listing-claim came from, so the claim still works after you sign in. Strictly necessary for the claim you started — exempt from consent.
• Plausible analytics — privacy-first and cookieless by design. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does no cross-site tracking, so no consent is needed.
• Local storage — used only to remember small bits of interface state (like recent searches) on your own device. It isn't shared with us or anyone else.

If this changes

If we ever add non-essential cookies — for example a different analytics or marketing tool — we'll add a consent mechanism and update this page first.
