Your Data Rights
[LAWYER REVIEW REQUIRED] — Scaffold for a lawyer to complete (Brief 31 Phase B). Not legal advice. The self-service flows linked below are live; the lawyer should confirm the rights descriptions.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Stub: briefly describe each right (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) in plain English, Covey-voiced.
Get a copy of your data (Subject Access Request)
Stub: explain the self-service export. [Request a copy of your data](/you/data/export) — we email you a JSON file of everything we hold about you and your children, via a time-limited secure link.
Correct your data
Stub: most details can be edited directly in your [profile](/profile) — name, postcode, children, interests. No request needed.
Delete your account
Stub: explain irreversibility + what's anonymised vs deleted. [Delete your account](/you/data/delete) — permanently removes your account and your children's data. Enquiries and reviews you sent are kept but anonymised, because the clubs received them in good faith.
Marketing preferences
Stub: how to opt out — [manage marketing preferences](/you/notifications/email) — and that every marketing email also has an unsubscribe link.
Who to contact
Stub: data protection contact privacy@mycovey.com; the right to complain to the ICO (add ICO details + Covey's registration number once obtained).
